How much does a storage unit cost at Southern Storage?

Units at Southern Storage start at $92 a month for a 5' x 10'. Other sizes include a 5' x 5' from $102, a 10' x 20' from $160 and a 12' x 30' from $250.

These are online rates: the 12' x 20' is $19.95 a month less than the regular price of $199.95. Prices change with demand, so reserving locks in the rate you see today. It's free and doesn't need a credit card.

What size storage units are available at Southern Storage?

Southern Storage has 8 storage unit sizes available online, from 5' x 5' to 12' x 30'. It also has small lockers from $9 and 7 parking space sizes. Only a few 12' x 20', 10' x 19' and 15' x 20' units are left, so those sizes may go soon.

Not sure what you need? A 10' x 10' is about the size of half of a one-car garage and fits one to two bedrooms: bedroom and living room furniture, a refrigerator or washer, and around 20 to 25 boxes. Our size guide shows what fits in each size.

How soon can I move in at Southern Storage?

The earliest move-in date is Monday, November 2. You can finish the whole rental online, lease and payment included, before you arrive. Move-in is contactless: sign online and get your gate code by text, with no stop at the office.

Can I park a car, boat or RV at Southern Storage?

Yes. Southern Storage rents parking spaces from $92 a month, up to 40' long. Covered spaces start at $180.

That works for a car, boat, trailer or RV, depending on its length. Measure from bumper to bumper (or hitch to stern) and choose a space with a few feet to spare. The facility may ask for current registration and insurance.

Is Southern Storage secure?

Security at Southern Storage includes 24-hour access (with manager approval, for additional $9 per month), fenced and lighted, video cameras on site and electronic gate access.

You'll have your own lock on your unit, so only you (and anyone you add to your account) can get in. A disc or cylinder lock is the hardest to cut.
