What size storage units are available at Smart Space?
Smart Space has 12 storage unit sizes available online, from 5' x 5' to 12' x 30'. It also has 4 parking space sizes. Only a few 5' x 7', 5' x 8' and 5' x 10' units are left, so those sizes may go soon.
Not sure what you need? A 10' x 10' is about the size of half of a one-car garage and fits one to two bedrooms: bedroom and living room furniture, a refrigerator or washer, and around 20 to 25 boxes. Our size guide shows what fits in each size.
How soon can I move in at Smart Space?
You can move in as soon as today. You can finish the whole rental online, lease and payment included, before you arrive. Move-in is contactless: sign online and get your gate code by text, with no stop at the office.
Tenant protection is available if your own insurance doesn't cover storage. Current specials include 50% OFF FIRST MONTH on select units.
Does Smart Space have climate-controlled units?
Yes. Smart Space has 7 climate-controlled sizes, starting at $21 a month for a 5' x 5'. That's $2 a month more than a standard 5' x 5' here.
Climate control is worth it for wood furniture, electronics, documents, photos and clothing. Look for "Climate Controlled" in the unit features.
Can I park a car, boat or RV at Smart Space?
Yes. Smart Space rents parking spaces from $113 a month, up to 50' long.
That works for a car, boat, trailer or RV, depending on its length. Measure from bumper to bumper (or hitch to stern) and choose a space with a few feet to spare. The facility may ask for current registration and insurance.
Is Smart Space secure?
Security at Smart Space includes fenced and lighted, video cameras on site, electronic gate access and manager lives on-site.
You'll have your own lock on your unit, so only you (and anyone you add to your account) can get in. A disc or cylinder lock is the hardest to cut.
