How much does a storage unit cost at Rent-A-Space?

Units at Rent-A-Space start at $74 a month for a 5' x 5'. Other sizes include a 5' x 25' from $237 and a 10' x 30' from $439.

These are online rates: the 10' x 30' is $44 a month less than the regular price of $483. Prices change with demand, so reserving locks in the rate you see today. It's free and doesn't need a credit card.

What size storage units are available at Rent-A-Space?

Rent-A-Space has 11 storage unit sizes available online, from 5' x 5' to 10' x 30'. It also has 1 parking space size. Only a few 5' x 5', 5' x 10' and 10' x 20' units are left, so those sizes may go soon.

Not sure what you need? A 10' x 10' is about the size of half of a one-car garage and fits one to two bedrooms: bedroom and living room furniture, a refrigerator or washer, and around 20 to 25 boxes. Our size guide shows what fits in each size.

How soon can I move in at Rent-A-Space?

The earliest move-in date is Monday, November 2. You can finish the whole rental online, lease and payment included, before you arrive. Move-in is contactless: sign online and get your gate code by text, with no stop at the office.

Does Rent-A-Space have climate-controlled units?

Yes. Rent-A-Space has 9 climate-controlled sizes, starting at $87 a month for a 5' x 5'. That's $13 a month more than a standard 5' x 5' here.

Climate control is worth it for wood furniture, electronics, documents, photos and clothing. Look for "Climate Controlled" in the unit features.

Can I park a car, boat or RV at Rent-A-Space?

Yes. Rent-A-Space rents parking spaces from $124 a month, up to 20' long.

That works for a car, boat, trailer or RV, depending on its length. Measure from bumper to bumper (or hitch to stern) and choose a space with a few feet to spare. The facility may ask for current registration and insurance.

Is Rent-A-Space secure?

Security at Rent-A-Space includes 24-hour access (with manager approval), fenced and lighted, video cameras on site and electronic gate access.

You'll have your own lock on your unit, so only you (and anyone you add to your account) can get in. A disc or cylinder lock is the hardest to cut.
