Questions about Storage First

View all FAQs →
How much does a storage unit cost at Storage First?

Units at Storage First start at $32 a month for a 5' x 5'. Other sizes include a 10' x 15' from $139 and a 10' x 30' from $239.

These are online rates: the 15' x 20' is $100 a month less than the regular price of $399. Prices change with demand, so reserving locks in the rate you see today. It's free and doesn't need a credit card.

What size storage units are available at Storage First?

Storage First has 8 storage unit sizes available online, from 5' x 5' to 10' x 30'. Only a few 5' x 5', 5' x 10' and 5' x 15' units are left, so those sizes may go soon.

Not sure what you need? A 10' x 10' is about the size of half of a one-car garage and fits one to two bedrooms: bedroom and living room furniture, a refrigerator or washer, and around 20 to 25 boxes. Our size guide shows what fits in each size.

How soon can I move in at Storage First?

The earliest move-in date is Monday, November 2. Move-in is contactless: sign online and get your gate code by text, with no stop at the office.

Tenant protection is available if your own insurance doesn't cover storage. Current specials include 50% Off First Month Rent and First Month Free Rent on select units.

Does Storage First have climate-controlled units?

Yes. Storage First has 7 climate-controlled sizes, starting at $53 a month for a 5' x 10'.

Climate control is worth it for wood furniture, electronics, documents, photos and clothing. Look for "Climate Controlled" in the unit features.

Is Storage First secure?

Security at Storage First includes fenced and lighted, video cameras on site and electronic gate access.

You'll have your own lock on your unit, so only you (and anyone you add to your account) can get in. A disc or cylinder lock is the hardest to cut.
