Questions about modSTORAGE - Piscataway

View all FAQs →
How much does a storage unit cost at modSTORAGE?

Units at modSTORAGE start at $12.99 a month for a 5' x 10'. Other sizes include a 5' x 5' from $14.99, a 7.5' x 10' from $42.99 and a 10' x 30' from $403.99.

These are online rates: the 10' x 30' is $223 a month less than the regular price of $629.99. Prices change with demand, so reserving locks in the rate you see today. It's free and doesn't need a credit card.

What size storage units are available at modSTORAGE?

modSTORAGE has 10 storage unit sizes available online, from 5' x 5' to 10' x 30'. It also has 1 parking space size. Only a few 5' x 5', 5' x 15' and 5' x 8' units are left, so those sizes may go soon.

Not sure what you need? A 10' x 10' is about the size of half of a one-car garage and fits one to two bedrooms: bedroom and living room furniture, a refrigerator or washer, and around 20 to 25 boxes. Our size guide shows what fits in each size.

How soon can I move in at modSTORAGE?

You can move in as soon as today. You can finish the whole rental online, lease and payment included, before you arrive.

Tenant protection is available if your own insurance doesn't cover storage. Current specials include BRAND NEW FACILITY on select units.

Does modSTORAGE have climate-controlled units?

Yes. modSTORAGE has 9 climate-controlled sizes, starting at $12.99 a month for a 5' x 10'.

Climate control is worth it for wood furniture, electronics, documents, photos and clothing. Look for "Climate Controlled" in the unit features.

Can I park a car, boat or RV at modSTORAGE?

Yes. modSTORAGE rents parking spaces from $406.99 a month, up to 30' long.

That works for a car, boat, trailer or RV, depending on its length. Measure from bumper to bumper (or hitch to stern) and choose a space with a few feet to spare. The facility may ask for current registration and insurance.

Is modSTORAGE secure?

Security at modSTORAGE includes fenced and lighted, video cameras on site, electronic gate access and 10% military discount (active-duty, reserves, veterans).

You'll have your own lock on your unit, so only you (and anyone you add to your account) can get in. A disc or cylinder lock is the hardest to cut.
