How much does a storage unit cost at Home Star?

Units at Home Star start at $34 a month for a 4' x 5'. Other sizes include a 10' x 10' from $94 and a 10' x 20' from $184.

These are online rates: the 10' x 17' is $24 a month less than the regular price of $258. Prices change with demand, so reserving locks in the rate you see today. It's free and doesn't need a credit card.

What size storage units are available at Home Star?

Home Star has 9 storage unit sizes available online, from 4' x 5' to 10' x 20'. Only a few 4' x 5', 5' x 5' and 5' x 10' units are left, so those sizes may go soon.

Not sure what you need? A 10' x 10' is about the size of half of a one-car garage and fits one to two bedrooms: bedroom and living room furniture, a refrigerator or washer, and around 20 to 25 boxes. Our size guide shows what fits in each size.

How soon can I move in at Home Star?

The earliest move-in date is Monday, November 2. You can finish the whole rental online, lease and payment included, before you arrive. Move-in is contactless: sign online and get your gate code by text, with no stop at the office.

Tenant protection is available if your own insurance doesn't cover storage. Current specials include 1st Month Free on select units.

Does Home Star have climate-controlled units?

Yes. Home Star has 9 climate-controlled sizes, starting at $34 a month for a 4' x 5'.

Climate control is worth it for wood furniture, electronics, documents, photos and clothing. Look for "Climate Controlled" in the unit features.

Is Home Star secure?

Security at Home Star includes fenced and lighted, video cameras on site, electronic gate access and manager lives on-site.

You'll have your own lock on your unit, so only you (and anyone you add to your account) can get in. A disc or cylinder lock is the hardest to cut.
