Questions about AAA Self Storage - Southwood
View all FAQs →How much does a storage unit cost at AAA Self Storage?
Units at AAA Self Storage start at $37 a month for a 5' x 5'. Other sizes include a 10' x 12' from $144 and a 12' x 30' from $196.
These are online rates: the 10' x 12' is $75 a month less than the regular price of $233. Prices change with demand, so reserving locks in the rate you see today. It's free and doesn't need a credit card.
What size storage units are available at AAA Self Storage?
AAA Self Storage has 8 storage unit sizes available online, from 5' x 5' to 12' x 30'. It also has 1 parking space size. Only a few 5' x 10', 14' x 50' and 10' x 10' units are left, so those sizes may go soon.
Not sure what you need? A 10' x 10' is about the size of half of a one-car garage and fits one to two bedrooms: bedroom and living room furniture, a refrigerator or washer, and around 20 to 25 boxes. Our size guide shows what fits in each size.
How soon can I move in at AAA Self Storage?
The earliest move-in date is Monday, November 2. You can finish the whole rental online, lease and payment included, before you arrive.
There's no admin fee. Tenant protection is available if your own insurance doesn't cover storage.
Does AAA Self Storage have climate-controlled units?
Yes. AAA Self Storage has 3 climate-controlled sizes, starting at $37 a month for a 5' x 5'.
Climate control is worth it for wood furniture, electronics, documents, photos and clothing. Look for "Climate Controlled" in the unit features.
Can I park a car, boat or RV at AAA Self Storage?
Yes. AAA Self Storage rents parking spaces from $91 a month, up to 50' long.
That works for a car, boat, trailer or RV, depending on its length. Measure from bumper to bumper (or hitch to stern) and choose a space with a few feet to spare. The facility may ask for current registration and insurance.
Is AAA Self Storage secure?
Security at AAA Self Storage includes 24-hour access (with manager approval), fenced and lighted, video cameras on site and electronic gate access.
You'll have your own lock on your unit, so only you (and anyone you add to your account) can get in. A disc or cylinder lock is the hardest to cut.
