Questions about Timp Storage
View all FAQs →How much does a storage unit cost at Timp Storage?
Units at Timp Storage start at $35 a month for a 5' x 5'. Other sizes include a 10' x 15' from $129 and a 12' x 30' from $315.
Prices change with demand, so reserving locks in the rate you see today. It's free and doesn't need a credit card.
What size storage units are available at Timp Storage?
Timp Storage has 7 storage unit sizes available online, from 5' x 5' to 12' x 30'. Only a few 5' x 5', 10' x 15' and 10' x 20' units are left, so those sizes may go soon.
Not sure what you need? A 10' x 10' is about the size of half of a one-car garage and fits one to two bedrooms: bedroom and living room furniture, a refrigerator or washer, and around 20 to 25 boxes. Our size guide shows what fits in each size.
How soon can I move in at Timp Storage?
The earliest move-in date is Monday, November 2. You can finish the whole rental online, lease and payment included, before you arrive.
Tenant protection is available if your own insurance doesn't cover storage.
Does Timp Storage have climate-controlled units?
Yes. Timp Storage has 5 climate-controlled sizes, starting at $50 a month for a 5' x 5'. That's $15 a month more than a standard 5' x 5' here.
Climate control is worth it for wood furniture, electronics, documents, photos and clothing. Look for "Climate Controlled" in the unit features.
Is Timp Storage secure?
Security at Timp Storage includes fenced and lighted, video cameras on site, electronic gate access and manager lives on-site.
You'll have your own lock on your unit, so only you (and anyone you add to your account) can get in. A disc or cylinder lock is the hardest to cut.
