As a rule of thumb, a bass boat or small runabout on its trailer needs about 20' to 25', and most pontoons and bowriders need 25' to 30'.

Covering your boat protects the gelcoat, canvas and electronics from UV damage. That makes a real difference if it'll sit for a season.

A small boat, jet ski or kayak trailer can fit in a 10' x 20' drive-up unit or larger. Check the door width and height with the facility first. For anything bigger, a parking space is usually the better fit.
