The 5' x 10' is the size you'll find at the most facilities here: 2 of the 3 on this page have one, starting at $62 a month. At 50 sq ft, it's about the size of a large walk-in closet and fits a studio or dorm room: a mattress and frame, a small sofa or dresser, a TV and a stack of boxes.

Not sure that's right for you? The storage calculator estimates the size from the rooms and items you're storing.

None of the units on this page are listed as climate controlled. Try turning on the Climate Controlled filter or searching a nearby city. Climate control is worth it for wood furniture, electronics, documents and photos. For tools, bikes or plastic bins, a standard unit is usually fine.

2 facilities on this page have a move-in special right now. The most common one is 50% off for the first full month. Look for the deal tag on the listing or next to the unit it applies to.

Specials usually apply to certain sizes and to new rentals only, and they can end without much notice. Reserving locks in the deal you see, and it doesn't cost anything.
