How much is boat storage in Old Mystic, CT?

The lowest price for boat storage in Old Mystic, CT right now is $42 a month, for a 15' space at CubeSmart Self Storage - Richmond - 39 Stilson Rd. Spaces up to 20' start at $42, 21' to 30' start at $62 and over 30' start at $104.

Open outdoor parking is the cheapest. Covered and indoor storage cost more but keep sun, rain and bird droppings off your hull and upholstery.

What size space do I need for my boat and trailer?

Facilities here list spaces from 15' up to 45' long. Your space has to fit the boat and the trailer, so measure from the trailer tongue to the stern, including the outboard motor or swim platform.

As a rule of thumb, a bass boat or small runabout on its trailer needs about 20' to 25', and most pontoons and bowriders need 25' to 30'.

Can I get covered or indoor boat storage in Old Mystic, CT?

The boat spaces on this page are open outdoor parking, starting at $42 a month. For covered or enclosed storage, try a nearby city or call a facility to ask what's coming available.

Covering your boat protects the gelcoat, canvas and electronics from UV damage. That makes a real difference if it'll sit for a season.

Can I keep my boat in a regular storage unit?

If your boat is on the small side, yes. 2 facilities on this page have units 20' or longer, from $111 a month for a 10' x 20'. That's big enough for a jet ski, a kayak trailer or a small fishing boat.

Check the door width and height before you reserve, and remember that most facilities don't allow gas cans or spare fuel inside a unit.

Which boat storage facilities in Old Mystic, CT have the best reviews?
